I have seen alot of knittings made from video game motifs like this dashing Contra sweater. Though in our house there is a collection of non-videogame related knittings and I’ve wondered for a long time how they would appear as pixel art, as they are indeed very much related, and if they in that case would appear videogameish. The knitting of the boy for example looks like it could actually be from a game of some sort, but in that case I haven’t got the slightest idea of which! In some way it almost feels like the digitized versions are the originals, and not the other way around. The castle is made with Minecraft because the knitting always represented that for me.

This is an enhanced version version of Space Tripper graphic demo with interactivity and higher resolution. You can walk around freely, and with the touch of a button you can randomize a new level with random colors and parameters. Though there is not much to do yet, the fact that it works like an interactive color stimulator is kind of interesting and could perhaps be the foundation of a game! It would be cool to add interpolation between parameters and colors and maybe a way to control the graphics with audio data of some kind. You can try it out here or download it zipped.

Modularix is a Flash application with which you can compose music with other people over the internet in what is perceived as real time. Notes added and removed will be synchronized over the network within an interval of a few seconds. It uses PHP/MySQL for backend.
The sound is generated by SiON, a pure as3 synthesizer. Future enhancements would perhaps include the possibility to create separate or private sessions, different patterns and the possibility to control all the parameters of the synth.
You can check it out here!

This is a graphic demo I made using a technique called raycasting which was originally used in games like Wolfenstein for example. A lot of random parameters affect the visual appearance like lighting, block size and color. It’s made with Java and uses LWJGL for graphics.
